Maximizing the reward during last 10 nights of ramadhan

Work on these 7 points and give your utmost effort during the final nights as it could be your final Ramadan!

  1. Your acts of worship starts from sunset.

In Islam, the night begins at Maghrib, try planning it out ahead how to maximize it.

2. Limit your distractions.

Try to find a space to limit any kind of distractions, best is to perform Iktikaf and seclude yourself in the Mesjid.

3. Pray Isha and Fajr in congregation.

Uthman bin Affan narrated that : Allah’s Messenger said: “Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer).” Hadith Grade: Sahih Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 221

4. Perform extra voluntary prayers during the night.

Abu Hurairah narrated that: The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: “Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” Hadith Grade: Sahih Reference: Sunan an-Nasa’i 5027

5. Read Quran.

Don’t miss the moment to reflect on the fact that the Quran was sent down during Lailatul Qadr, take heed and ponder upon the verses.

6. Connect with the one who writes your fate.

Duas made during this night has the greatest power to change your fate. Talk to Allah, express everything to him and beg for his mercy and forgiveness.

7. Increase in charity.

By doing charity during the night, hoping to reap the rewards of which is better than 1000 months (equivalent to the rewards of deeds worth 83 years or more! )

May Allah increase our faith, guides us in being steadfast in the deen and accepts our good deeds!
